At Beach Resort Punt West, dogs are truly welcome. The resort is located in the heart of De Punt nature reserve – a peaceful and unique dune landscape with nature trails, the Grevelingen Lake and the beach right on your doorstep. From your villa or studio, you can walk straight into nature — perfect for peaceful walks together.

Dogs are also welcome at our Beach Club, making Punt West the favourite holiday destination for many four-legged friends. Our sustainable accommodations offer all the comfort you need to unwind together after an active day. We kindly ask that dogs are kept on a leash within the resort, so everyone can enjoy the tranquillity.

Off-leash areas in the vicinity

The area around Beach Resort Punt West is full of great walking opportunities, even for your dog! How nice is it when your dog can frolic and play with other furry friends, while you enjoy the lush nature and expansive dune landscapes.

    Preekhilpolder (2,5 km)

    The Preekhilpolder is a nature reserve on the Grevelingenmeer. Dogs are allowed to run off-leash here from July 16th to March 14th. Between March 15th and July 15th, dogs must be kept on a leash due to the breeding season.

    Kwade Hoek (12 km)

    De Kwade Hoek is a nature reserve northeast of Goedereede. It is part of the Duinen van Goeree. Dogs are allowed to run off-leash on the beach year-round between the indicated signs.

    Het Annabos (22 km)

    Annabos is a young and green forest in Voorne. This forest is divided into two parts. In one part, dogs must be kept on a leash, while in the other part, dogs are allowed to run off-leash and play year-round.

🐾 How many dogs am I allowed to bring?

Up to 2 dogs are allowed per accommodation. In the hotel studios, it depends on the size of your dog whether it is allowed. In the beach villas, all dogs are allowed!

🐾 Are dogs allowed to swim in the Grevelingenmeer?

Certainly! Dogs can also cool off in the natural water on a warm summer day. From the sandy beach, they can easily take a refreshing dive into the water!
