The beginning – a house in the backyard

It all started small, in our own backyard. We built a little house there, while the main house was rented out on Airbnb as a holiday home. What seemed like a practical experiment turned out to be the start of something much bigger. From the very first moment, we discovered how rewarding it was to offer guests a wonderful stay. There, between the dunes and the village, our vision was born: personal hospitality, attention to detail, and always ready to go the extra mile.

The growth – a family business with a mission

From that small beginning, Ouddorp Connection grew into a family business that welcomed more and more guests. We gradually expanded with unique houses and studios, but always kept the same foundation: a fully equipped home and a warm, personal welcome. Our connection to Ouddorp runs through everything we do. Each of us feels deeply connected to this island, with its wide beaches, dunes and lively village. That passion is what we want to share, because for us Ouddorp is more than a place — it’s a way of life.

At the start of 2024 we were given the opportunity to take on the rental management of Beach Resort Punt West. For us, this felt like a true milestone. Together with our entire team, we worked hard to bring the villas and studios back to top level – from interior and maintenance to service and atmosphere. Punt West is a resort that truly stands out. Every day we ourselves experience how unique this place feels — as if you are no longer in the Netherlands. The horizon of Lake Grevelingen and the vastness of the surrounding nature provide that special sense of freedom that words can hardly capture.

2025 – focus on the guest experience

With the foundation laid in 2024, we deliberately chose to focus on the guest experience in 2025. We wanted to offer more than just a stay — we wanted to create memories. That’s why we introduced a breakfast service to the villas and studios, organised yoga sessions by the water, launched water sports rentals and partnered with Eat Sous to spoil our guests with culinary delights. Every stay now comes with something extra, something beyond comfort alone: a complete experience where relaxation and indulgence come together.

The future – building step by step

We look to the future with confidence. In autumn 2025, the reopening of Beach Club Punt West is planned — a place that will once again become the beating heart of the resort. Together with our partners, we look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy special evenings, excellent cuisine and an atmosphere that completes Punt West. But this is only the beginning. Step by step, we will continue to build our dream: to see the paradise of Punt West flourish once more, with ever more space for nature, hospitality and unforgettable moments.
